Should have started with this Augusten Burroughs book first....as the other 2 books I recently read make references to things he says in this book. The story is unreal...I know it's a memoir so it's basically his recollection of his childhood and I can't believe this really happened. To be given away to your mother's psychiatrist as pre-teen and to have your first sexual realtionship be with someone more that double your age - who is now legally your brother.It's an amazing story of survival in that he could have fallen in between the cracks but instead prevailed and has been able to share this insance story with the rest of us. Definately worth a read - if you want it I have a copy to share...
