Happy Valentines Day....picnic lunch

Mommy and daddy play while Donut sleeps away.... We are not traditionally celebraters of valentines day but this year after Donut's swim lesson Forrest had a picnic lunch all setup for us. So we headed out to an overlook area on the western edge of the Presidio (on what turned out to be a super fabulous sunny day) to munch on cheese, crackers, fruit and sip some champagne. Hanging out on a beautiful day with my two favorite people :)

They are turning some parts just above of our picnic area into campgrounds. I think that could turn out to be really fun with Donut. A short 10 minute drive or a little half hour hike to our own local campground for an overnight trip!

SF Botanical Gardens

When Molly suggested we go to the SF Botanical Gardens for a lunar new year celebration, I was thinking of the big white building in GG Park...you know the conservatory....but that wasn't it. Yes the gardens are in GG Park, but it's over by 9th and Lincoln...so clear on the other side of the park. AND THIS PLACE IS RAD

That squirrel came all the way up to us and just hung out - I think it might be a little used to people feeding it.

I feel so grown up...

With all this grown up furniture now. Recently we started to get some new furniture...mainly things that would put other things higher up or behind real doors so the baby couldn't get into it. But going to furniture stores (that are not IKEA) and actually buying things is wierd...I'm not going to lie. So above is our Grove credenza...we just got the cabinet delivered today that goes to the right of it, thus replacing a baker's rack that we've been using for years.
