Finally getting around to writing about those lovely pictures of us ladies all sweaty and muddy. So 2 weekends ago, myself and a slew of other DGs flew down to San Diego for the weekend for 3 reasons...- Run the Camp Pendleton 10K Mud Run
- See our first DG baby
- Celebrate Andrea's birthday
So this 10K is through Camp Pendleton and there are obstacle courses, long stretches of sand, rivers, lakes, and killer hills. All the while you have young marines either encouraging you or hekkling you. Those kids must of had a blast yelling at us lazy civilians...as we struggle through their obstacle course
The pic above is of our team shirts...Jenny's nickname in college was Pigger...and Hiroko was Hog so after much deliberation we decided to extend the swine theme..
