That's a picture of the finished product in albeit rather dim lighting...but Sunday was spent lounging around watching movies on FX and making curtains for Caroline's dining room. As you can see there, she has a bay window with 3 actual window panes....so we decided to make 4 panels. Her dining room is a light gray and all the molding/wood trim is in a darker gray so she picked a pinkish color for her drapes. What you don't see is that a side table, dining table and chandelier are cream...and the chairs that will eventually go in there will be a rubbed black. So the pink really helped to warm up the room. A dupioni silk was selected at Zimmans...a massive fabric store (I would think that is what Britex is like) with really great rates.
Yes, I do home improvement projects while on vacation. My next stop is Plymouth Michigan to help Tom and Angie with ideas for their new home.
