That's a picture of the baseball cupcakes that Hiroko made for our skeleton team for last night's game. It was a shame, really....we only had 8 people...4 guys and 4 girls, the absolute minimum needed to play. And even then, we had to wait 20 minutes...because the other team was being so "kind" and not letting us forfeit. Our famed pitcher, Jawed, was unable to attend the game and Kevin filled in but walked a number of people in the beginning...slow pitch softball pitching is a lot harder than you think - - hopefully Jawed will return next week..for the last regular game of the season. Finally, mid-game...my brother pulled a hamstring and we had to forfeit...so it was off to Tasty Subs for pizzas and beers.
I was so defeated by our game that I promtly went home by 8, then was asleep by 8:30 pm. I am now a card carrying member of the geriatric ward.
