The winner of the Pro Cycling Tour's San Francisco Grand Prix: Fabian Wegman of Gerolsteiner
Spent the entire weekend with some sort of cycling....GEEZ - you wouldn't know it, but I am turning into a road bike geek. As the LVH would tease me, I am currently super focused on cycling. Actually I have no idea why I didn't start this before running....because it hurts less than running...my joints rejoiced with my first bike ride and have ceased the boycott of physical activity..
Saturday: Went on a bike ride with Forrest and Chester along Foothill Expressway from Standord to 280 over by Rancho San Antonio and back...I swear...I LOVE the peninsula...
Sunday: Forrest and I watched the SF Grand Prix from a variety of viewing areas....once at the beginning on the Embarcadero as part of our run, then in the Marina as part of our run's U-turn and later at the finish on the Embarcadero...and finally a post race beer with Alan in the TIAA-CREF hospitality tent - pimpin. Julie sent a link of some great pics over today...
Monday: Cruised down to Levi's plaza with Forrest to meet up with Chester and later the Chinn family to watch Brad race in the Giro di San Francisco criterium. There were a number of races for this including an older racer category, amateur, professional, womens and kids races. Pics available on chesternet...
In conclusion, me entire weekend was spent around large groups of men wearing spandex and legs smoother than mine - slightly frightening.
