holy shit! we made fire...after what seemed like an eternity breaking apart the pallet...we have fire. The flame was a little erratic though and required careful grilling of our hotdogs and marshmallows. Upon lighting of our local fire, 2 of our campsite mates Bonnid (Santa Cruz) and Marilyn (Belmont) joined us for s'mores and some chatter.
