No, that's not a porn reference or anything wierd like that...what it is, is a reference to Football Season.... I can't wait. As July draws near, it can mean only 1 thing (besides the Fourth of July) which is the releasing of tickets to all football games to season ticket holders....let the games begin. This is where I start hunting on Craigslist and eBay for tickets to games...
This year I've decided to try and watch a few more...particularly these teams
- Green Bay Packers: It may be Favre's last year and his backup is last season's QB from Cal that was supposed to be a first round pick but ended up 24th or something.
- Indiannapolis Colts: Peyton Manning
- Detroit Lions: I got a bone to pick with Joey Harrington for beating my Pack and being on the cover of the NCAA Football game from EA
- New York Giants: big fan of the Manning family....
So I need to get my football strategy together. The Lions and the Packers play each other twice in a season so if I play my cards right I can possibly get to watch the game in Mecca (LamBeau Field). That kills 2 birds with one stone. The Colts will be coming to SF to play the Niners so I can ping my usual ticket broker for those... Now the NY Giants will be an interesting one because that constitutes getting my but out to the Northeast during the weekend of a game... I need to check the schedule - maybe I can combo that weekend in with a work trip out there...
Any suggestions? Any access to tickets out there that you're willing to sell to me??
